All my hair barrettes are designed by, and hand made. The standard size of these barrettes is 6cm between the pin holes, with a 14.5 cm birch wood stick to hold it in place. If you need a larger barrette I also offer custom sizing for additional cost.
I use thick leather to give the barrette good rigidity, with a burnished inside to provide a smooth, undamaging surface to rest against your hair and a wax exterior so it can stand up to the elements

This one features Celtic knot in the shape of an eight pointed start, delicately cut out with hand tooled detailing across the design.
